The current recommendations suggest that influenza vaccination can be performed at any time during pregnancy.
The Flu Vaccine For Pregnant Women
A study conducted in the United States of America between the years 2010-2012 showed that women who have gotten swine flu shots two years in a row and who had the second shot during early pregnancy had an increased risk of miscarriage. However, this result did not change the current recommendations because the link between the vaccine and miscarriage was not established and the number of participant was inadequate. Nevertheless, a comprehensive study was planned to assess this possibility and its results are expected to be taken in 2019.
